This is the third coin in a series featuring the white-tailed deer. Common across much of southern Canada, they are a symbol of the elusive yet constant presence of nature.

This beautiful proof coin features the use of multiple finishes to bring out details of a female and male white-tailed deer leaping over a fallen tree.
