SEASON 3 POSTER DESIGN

The coin’s coloured reverse pays tribute to the iconic Season 3 poster. The design features the main characters; Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Eleven, and the rest of the Hawkins crew, united in a dramatic scene illuminated by bursting fireworks, carnival rides and the glowing sign of the Starcourt Mall. Looming in the foreground is the menacing presence of the Mind Flayer. The design includes the Stranger Things Iogo along with The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.

PRESENTATION PACKAGING

The coin is housed in a black wooden case with red accents. The lid of the case features embossed details, as well as the official Netflix and Stranger Things logos. Packaged in a themed shipper, the release is accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity.

The Perth Mint opened in 1899 as the British Royal Mint's 3rd branch in Australia. The historical Hay Street location handled gold refining until moving to a modern facility in April 1990.
