The coin’s coloured reverse features the mysterious world of Hawkins. The coin’s upper half showcases Mike, Dustin, Lucas, and Eleven on an adventurous bike ride, while the lower half features the eerie Upside Down, featuring Will and the ominous presence of the demogorgon. Included in the design is the inscription ‘ON NOV 6, 1983 THE WORLD TURNED UPSIDE DOWN. FOREVER.’, along with the ‘STRANGER THINGS’ logo and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
The coin is housed in a black wooden case with red accents. The lid of the case features embossed details, as well as the official Netflix and Stranger Things logos. Packaged in a themed shipper, the release is accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity.
