The reverse feature, set on an uncommonly spacious 76.25mm diameter coin, is a striking render of two sugar maple leaves, set on a single branch by skilled artist Celia Godkin and intricately textured for added depth.

The fine-line textured field, which serves to enhance the 3 dimensional effect of the feature and which also bears the coin's year of issue, is encapsulated in a decorative frame, beset with light refracting radial lines and complete with the country of origin, weight and purity.

The coin's obverse is no less magnificent, featuring a detailed effigy of Elizabeth II, dramatically sharpened by an impressive, micro-engraved field.Encircling this immaculate effigy, Elizabeth II's regal title, as well as the coin's denominational value.
