The Hawksbill turtle is one of the two main turtle species of the South Pacific.

Although they are widely distributed throughout the world's tropical regions, Hawksbill Turtles are critically endangered due to human fishing practices.

They grow up to a metre in length and weigh 80 kg, although the heaviest on record weighed 127 kg.
