The Dying Eagle is the ninth round in the ten round Zombucks series.

These rounds are designed to awaken the sleeping amongst us, and to save humanity from itself! This round is a modern interpretation of the US Mint's Flying Eagle Cent, minted from 1857-1858.

The Flying Eagle has been described as "by all odds the best design on any American coin".

The last 150 years have not been kind to noble Eagle...

The reverse side shows a bio-hazard symbol with blood splattered around it, reminding humans of the apocalypse hazards.

The words "Zombucks Currency of the Apocolaypse" leave us in no doubt as to possible future usefulness of this round.

The obverse features a decaying and ragged looking eagle, having lost most of the feathers on it's wings and all of the feathers on it's legs. The eagle still looks noble, although it's appearance will not strike fear into anyone.

The year 2019 is the predicted date of the apocalypse with a denomination of 2 Zombucks, the currency of the zombie apocalypse.

As with the rest of the Zombucks series, these rounds will be produced for a limited period of time.

Production concluded October 1st, 2015, and total mintage was 59343.
