Buy with Confidence

The French 10 francs gold bullions coins were issued between 1824 and 1914 and became a sought-after investment asset, not only for their high gold purity but also due to their historical value.

The 10 Franc gold coins generally show the Gallic Rooster (Coq Gaulois), which is an icon of French patriotism and identity. The Rooster symbolizes confidence, intensity, and readiness. The gold coins generally have the words “LIBERTE, EGALITE, FRATERNITE” (translating to Freedom, Equality, and Fraternity) engraved in an arch surrounding the animal, which represent the guiding values of the French revolution.

A great option for anyone looking to diversify their collection. We randomly select a 10 Franc MS-61 condition gold coin from our vast collection. Coins will be chosen at our discretion and may be different from the items displayed on the images. Weight, purity, condition, and face value are guaranteed.

The NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Company) uses the internationally recognized Sheldon grading scale, which ranges from 1 to 70 to grade coin condition. The MS-61 (which stands for Mint State with a 61 grade) is one of the highest scores a coin may achieve. It’s alternatively referred to as Uncirculated.

Each of the coins maintains a similar, but not always identical, design on both the obverse and reverse.
