You’ll enjoy the web’s lowest rates, when you order your Random Year $10 Liberty Eagle MS-63 gold coin from our online store today! Minted between 1838 and 1907, the beloved Liberty Eagle has seen many changing designs throughout its run, this design, by Christian Gobrecht, being one of the most sought after.
The reverse image is a majestic heraldic eagle with its wings outstretched, holding a shoot and spears, with a shield bearing the American stripes at its breast. Also on the reverse, the U.S. legend and a decorative border, with a banner that reads, ‘In God We Trust’, above the eagles head.
The obverse feature is also known as the coronet head, being Christian Gobrecht’s version of Lady Liberty, with her ‘Liberty’ headband and the 13 stars encircling her. This obverse feature is encapsulated in a light, decorative border and is joined only by the coin’s random year of issue.
This coin saw many updates to the obverse over the years, with the most drastic and final change coming in 1908, when the Liberty bust was replaced by the image of a proud Native American chieftain. Celebrate minting and American history, diversify your portfolio with a Random Year $10 Liberty Eagle MS-63 Gold Coin today!
